SonoLady > My First Oil Painting in PSE!!-- posting early for May 1st-- this one is for my mom! Okay, this is SO MUCH FUN!!! I never would have guessed how much I would like doing this. We learned the steps tonight in class on how to do this effect. I began working on a old church photo in class but that is going to take many hours to master... when I got home I tried this out on a few flowers. SonoLady > Reflecting June 2 Sorry I have been a bit awol lately and I did not post yesterday either!! :-( Yesterday I think I was just so tired from a long busy weekend... and now today one of my dear friends husband had a heart attack.... only 44... but he is doing okay and they hope he can come home in a few days. UGH! So today I came home and sat outside by the pool and shot a few pictures of some flowers that were left over from our party here on Saturday... I really like the simplicity of the greens with the pool reflections in the background. I will catch up soon!! Hope all is well with you tonight! Lynn

SonoLady > Sept 5 - Beach Day We kayaked... fished, saw horses on the beach...lots of kites and even a fruit stand. I am too tired to make an album of the rest of the pics tonight, but I have a feeling they might be back tomorrow. Best viewed in XL

SonoLady > March 22--- Sweet Strawberry Sunday Our two pre K little neighbor girls knocked on the door this afternoon with a little gift basket full of strawberries that they picked themselves today at a local farm. They stood there all shy while their Dad told me the girls wanted to give the strawberries to Bella!! (our dog! :-) how SWEET is that??? Since I didn't have a POD today that I really liked...this had to be it. I am going to try and catch up on all the great pictures posted this weekend now! AND THANKS for the great response on the little lizard!! I just saw that he made it to number 2 on the popular photos!!! that is pretty sweet too!
SonoLady > May 13 - Tomato Fuzz Tonight the light was amazing but I was a little lazy and only hand held for a few shots. I liked the way this turned out . Had to use the healing brush however because I still haven't gotten the courage to clean my sensor. I am sure I will get it done by the weekend though and I will show you the before & after (assumming the camera still works when I'm finished!) Also, I heard that I missed a great potd today...my husband said that a giant hawk just sat on our fence for about 15 minutes today... they NEVER do that... we have lived here 10 yrs and haven't come that close.... I wonder did he want to eat the doves or my cat!? Oh yay! I just saw that I was the first to guess Stephonie's expression yesterday!! I just love those!! have a good night.
